Capitol Crashing

There is a storm

It’s not the norm

No one can perform

It started in a college dorm

It’s the nation

With so much education

But upon graduation

Youths are ending up at the station

Police getting heat

Shooting blacks on the street

Nation gets on their feet

Trump sends another tweet

Presidential election

More important than the resurrection

My people have no affection

I’m the only one who can offer them true protection

In God we trust

But the money’s never enough

You think it’s best to be tough

But I’m calling your bluff

The lies are caving in

It’s not about Joe Biden

You want someone to confide in

I am with you closer than your skin

Black Lives Matter

But the blood still splatters

Social media chatters

Your heads keep getting fatter

Pride has become your god

Don’t you find that a bitt odd?

You think your society is mod

But you’re living in the fog

Your nation’s getting mugged

I want to give you a big hug

If only you’d all unplug

And stop burying your problems under the rug

I have plans to restore you

Though they might be hard to chew

The next president is blue

And you might have a curfew

In God we trust

I’m calling your bluff

Seek Me, you must

So this year won’t be another bust

God bless America

Right now there’s hysteria

But don’t move to Bulgaria

Your Heavenly Father is coming for ya
